Cub Scout Bear Core Adventure Loop - Fur, Feathers and Ferns

By learning more about the wildlife that lives near you, you can also learn how to be more kind to animals and plants by improving their habitat. You got to go on a hike with your Cub Scout Six Essentials (of course!) and may have discovered a whole mess of different plants and animals both by looking from afar and looking closer with a magnifying glass. You also may have planted a garden or learned about composting and vegetable waste and how that can help build a stronger garden. Lastly, you took your knowledge about improving the environment and applied it in a discussion about animals that are now extinct or endangered. You may have even come up with a way that you can help make an endangered species' life better! Once you have completed the requirements, you have earned the Fur, Feathers and Ferns adventure loop.
